| Unique Characteristics: |
|
Considered the best of the Globe Thistles. The dark steely blue, weather resistant flowers last a long time and are produced 4 - 8 on each branched stem. The flower heads provide good color before the actual flowers open, thereby prolonging the season. They bring a stately look to a border and are handsomely accented by the striking foliage. Even when the flowers are finished the leaves provide an attractive display. In areas with cooler night temperatures the flowers are a deeper blue. |
